Chinnara Mela 2024 and Felicitation Programme for Anganwadi Teachers
Moodbidri: A colourful Chinnara Mela and Felicitation Programme for Anganwadi Teachers was organised at Excellent CBSE School. The programme was graced by Mrs. Shubha, Officer from the Department of Women and Child Development, as the Chief Guest. The programme was presided over by Mr. Yuvaraj Jain, Chairman of Excellent Group of Institutions. Mrs. Rashmitha Jain, Secretary of the institution, was present as the Guest of Honour. Mr. Sampath Kumar, Administrative Director, Mr. Suresh, Principal of Excellent CBSE School, and Mr. Prasad, Academic Coordinator, were also present on the occasion.
The programme was formally inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The Chief Guest, Mrs. Shubha, was felicitated by the Chairman and Secretary of the institution. On this special occasion, 24 Anganwadi teachers from Moodbidri, known for its rich educational and cultural heritage, were honoured with respect and gratitude for their dedicated service. More than 150 Anganwadi children and their parents participated enthusiastically in the programme.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Mrs. Shubha expressed her happiness over Excellent Education Institutions organising such a meaningful programme for children and felicitating Anganwadi teachers. She appreciated the well-planned and child-friendly environment created by Excellent institutions to support and enhance children's learning.
Mrs. Rashmitha Jain, Secretary of the institution, said that young children's minds are pure and receptive. She highlighted the important role of Anganwadi teachers in sowing the seeds of knowledge in young minds while nurturing their enthusiasm, creativity, skills and emotional development with the affection and care of a mother.
Mr. Yuvaraj Jain, Chairman of Excellent Group of Institutions, emphasised that children can grow into responsible and good citizens when learning is combined with discipline and a positive environment. He stated that creating such a supportive atmosphere from the early stages of education is the responsibility of every teacher.
Keeping in mind the innocence and curiosity of young children, the teachers of Excellent CBSE School organised a variety of fun-filled activities under the theme “GIGGLE AND GROW.” The beautifully designed indoor play area attracted the children, who participated joyfully in various games and activities. The children also enjoyed yoga exercises, action songs, role-play activities and simple drawing activities, making the event an enjoyable and memorable experience.
The programme was compered by Ms. Archana. Mr. Suresh, Principal of Excellent CBSE School, delivered the welcome address, while Mr. Prasad, Academic Coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks.
